(via)The Prophet commends Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman for not capitulating to David Stern's demand to regulate the state's betting industry to the NBA commish's wishes. The big question remains--in light of the fiasco that was the NBA All Star weekend why does he want a team so badly in the first place?

(via)With the UFC's purchase of the Japanese MMA organization PRIDE all but a done deal, the Prophet considers what steps need to be taken to make it work. The union has the potential to make a ton of money and solidify MMA as a "legit" sport but it has to be done right.
