A few days ago we lifted the curtains on a project I’ve been deep into for a long time now: GitHub for Mac. This is the first OS X app I’ve designed and thought it might be interesting to share some of the process and things I learned throughout development.

Insync began as a side project and in 2008 became a full blown sync + share product. We wanted to sync and share files without resorting to web uploads, FTP clients, network shares, attachments and SharePoint. Insync is built with Google Apps love and supports enterprises with 2 to 500+ employees. Our goal is to continue to build a kick-ass product.

Versions is the first Mac OS X Subversion client that won't make you long for the command line interface anymore. Without over-simplifying the way Subversion is structured, Versions gives a clear overview and all the tools you'll need.
