Cartoons of Yesterday Revived for a New Television Audience
(via)I love nostalgia and it appears the Cartoon Network and Nicktoons are going to feed my addition. These two toon networks will be offering newer (and probably hipper) versions of two cartoon series from my youth — Speed Racer and Transformers.

Matthew Fox to be Racer X in 'Speed Racer'
(via)As a follow up to my earlier post about Speed Racer, I have additional news about the cast. According to Hollywood Report, Matthew Fox (Lost, Party of Five) is finalizing negotiations to join the project.
Christina Ricci says 'Go Speed Racer, Go' « Napping at Red Lights
(via)Christina Ricci will join the cast of the live action version of Speed Racer scheduled to hit the big screen in May 2008.
Ricci will play Trixie Fontaine, the dedicated girlfriend of Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch), the world-class Grand Prix race car driver.
