It looks like word is getting on USA’s newest addition to its quirky line up. Burn Notice saw an increase in its audience in its second week.

I just finished watching the pilot of USA’s newest edition to its summer lineup and I have to say Burn Notice has definitely earned a spot in my summer TV line up. This quirky drama stars Jeffrey Donovan (Crossing Jordan, Hitch) as Michael Westen, a spy who gets abruptly fired during a mission and must now find out who issued the burn notice on him in order to get his life back.

While network television will inundate you this summer with reruns (with a few exceptions) and more cheaply produced reality shows, cable stations are answering viewers demand for better choices with summer fare that rival some prime season offerings. So after a day of frolicking in the great outdoors enjoying the summer sun, cool off with these summer shows.
