blogelo is an experiment in applying ratings to web sites to determine, not only the best overall sites, but also those sites that are the best in categories such as blogs, news, and technology. The ratings are based on the results of comparisons made by blogelo users.

YouPickTheNews.com - Home: Top Overall Stories

YouPickTheNews.com allows users to submit news stories, and other users to rate those stories based on four categories. Stories with enough ratings are displayed on the main pages, with the highest scores. A bit like digg without the comments.
