When I designed the site I designed some low poly shapes for the blog. Obviously for the design I did them by hand, but I knew I wanted them to be generative in the final version. So when I was at a loose end on a trip to Mountain View (visiting the Google Mothership, for the lolz) I took a day out to create the requisite chunk of code.

I have created a google map using google map javascript API V3. I am drawing number of zipcode polygons. The polygons are of different colors depending upon some condition. Now I want to draw straight lines/ hash marks inside some of the polygons depending upon certain criteria. How can we do it. Below is the code which I have written for drawing the polygons.

This application is also available with Large map. This is a drawing tool for polyline, polygon, polygon with holes, rectangle, circle, marker(icon), direction(route, path). This application uses the Google Maps API Version 3 (V3). It has all the features of Google Maps MyMaps and has direct access to the code for the shapes (overlays) you create. The Delaunay Image Triangulation Brush for Adobe Illustrator creates colored triangles from user-created points and an underlying image. In order to run the script inside Illustrator, you need to install the Scriptographer plugin.

The Delaunay Raster is an original graphical process I invented in 2008, to create abstracted versions of images using the Delaunay Triangulation, color averaging and hand assisted placement of points. Delaunay Raster was developed using Scriptographer and color averaging by Jurg Lehni.

The tool generates a line made of three-sided or four-sided polygons. If you select a raster image, the tool will draw the path using the image's colors. A nice and quick tool to write and draw.

This project is inspired by the Triangulation invented by the mathematician Boris Delaunay in 1934. While the process behind is complicated, the result reduce an image to its essentials, creating the illusions of triangles, prisms and pyramids.
