I’ve been under the weather for a couple days now. Yesterday I spent most of the day in bed. My husband, as always, sweetly took care of me, bringing me everything I needed — soup, water, even my computer to finish a couple deadline projects for work. But unlike in the past, my husband had help caring for me this time.

I come from a family where photos are a huge part of our life. It’s not the same case for my in-laws. However, now that there are grandchildren, I’ve been building up to request a three-generation family photo with my in-laws. But now it’s too late.

National TV Turn-Off Week

Today marks the start of National TV Turn-Off Week. According to the Center for Screen-Time Awareness, turning off the TV allows your family to spend quality time together reading, thinking, creating and doing. Personally, I think that denying my children television will actually make them want it more. In fact, I actually use television as a development tool for my twin two-year-olds.
