Good Bye Lenin!*
This site promotes the North American release of Goodbye Lenin!, a motion picture by Sony Pictures Classics. The movie centers around a young, East German man whose “proudly socialist” mother falls into an eight-month-long coma in October 1989. When she awakens her heart is too weak to handle the shock of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the rise of Capitalism so her son sets out on a mission to conceal the truth of current events.
