What’s Your Favorite March activity?

(via)
March is one of those strange months that are more about transitions than about a particular event or season. But that doesn’t mean the month should fly by without a little adventure. What is your favorite activity to do in March?

Christmas in March

(via)
On Saturday, my children woke up and scurried downstairs to the living room like it was Christmas morning to find a pile of “new toys” much to their delight. What, you say. It’s only March.

When Mommy Has a Sick Day

(via)
I’ve been under the weather for a couple days now. Yesterday I spent most of the day in bed. My husband, as always, sweetly took care of me, bringing me everything I needed — soup, water, even my computer to finish a couple deadline projects for work. But unlike in the past, my husband had help caring for me this time.

Does McDonald’s Food Really Taste Better?

(via)
A recent study indicates that preschoolers prefer the taste of food in McDonald’s wrappers to the same food in generic wrappers. I agree that children prefer the McDonald’s food, but I don’t think it has anything to do with taste.

What would you be willing to do to keep your child safe?

(via)
The thought of my children being stolen or getting lost and then hurt absolutely terrorizes me. In fact, as the mother of twin toddlers, I have not gone to places with my children alone just because I thought it might be too crowded for me to keep track of two little ones that could disappear quickly in a throng of people. A British professor might have the answer to ease parents concerns — an implant.

(via)
On Saturday, my mother and I took the twins to see Sesame Street Live’s “Elmo’s Coloring Book” and what do I come home with — two $8 each balloons of Elmo.

New Study Gives Working Parents Something Else to Worry About

As if working parents don’t have enough to worry about, a new study from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development released Monday concludes that children who spend time in daycare, regardless of the quality of the daycare center, are more likely to exhibit behavior problems (aggression and disobedience) in grade school. Now it’s no longer good enough to find a quality childcare for your child.
